Come be a part of a community based, prayer founded, and Kingdom minded ministry in Abbeville South Carolina. Here you will work hands on with staff to impact the youth of Abbeville all while being trained to thrive in discipleship focused ministry. Our program will train, encourage, motivate, and stretch you to go back home and impact your community in a powerful way.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

​WHO SHOULD APPLY ?

​Our program is focused on growing an individual's skills to meet their passion. Each applicant of this program should:

• Have a devoted relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Feel called to youth ministry
• Show a track record of moral consistency
• Be willing to commit 15 months of service
• Be 18 years or older. 

PROGRAM ReSPONSIBILItiES

• Mentor and disciple middle and high school students
• Lead varies AYC programs based off passion and needs
• Assist in planning, designing, and implementing programs.
• Community outreach

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

• ​Developing community relationships
• Fundraising
• Long and short range ministry planning
• Staff and volunteer over site
• Vision casting
• Developing ministry structure and atmosphere. 

FUNDING REQUIREMENTS

• $600 per month for 15 months. This is a total of $9,000.
• This will cover housing, utilities, food, gas, and administrative costs. Transportation will not be provided.
• While it is the suggestion of the Abbeville Youth Center to seek monthly funding, you my raise a lump sum.
• A minimum of $500 monthly or $7,500 total must be raised before moving into housing.
• All donations will go to the Abbeville Youth Center and bi monthly checks will be issued to program participants to meet financial responsibilities.
• All applicants will be given fundraising tips, guidelines, and material to help in their funding efforts.
